oPerforms mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
oRepairs and maintains facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and humidification).
oUses rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments accurately.
oPrepares and operates machine tools such as grinders, and drill presses to repair or fabricate machine parts and/or fixtures.
oTroubleshoots electric and electronic problems.
oTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical components, motors, compressors and any other systems in the plant.
oPerforms preventative maintenance.
oMaintains accurate maintenance records in C Works.
oUnderstands press, die cut and gluing equipment in order to perform repairs/maintenance.
oOperates scissors and forklifts.
oWorks on call as required.
oPerforms other job duties as assigned.
What you need to Succeed:
oTraining/certification in machine-specific and electronics fields is preferred.
oMinimum 2 years' experience in machining.
oMinimum 3 years' experience in electrical component repair.
oMust be able to properly use rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
oMust have a working knowledge of electric and mechanical safety.
oMust have some basic computer experience.
oMust be knowledgeable in the safe use of hand and small power tools.
oMust be able to work on-call as needed.
oMust have acute troubleshooting skills.
oMust be able to maintain good attendance.
oMust be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
oMust be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
