JOB DESCRIPTION


Qualifications:
Graduation from college with 4-year degree in a Human Service Field and TWO years post-graduate experience working with the developmentally disabled population, or a 4-year degree in a non-human service field and accumulate of at least FOUR years of post-graduate experience with the population served. Must have experience supervising direct care employees, and must meet the qualifications for QP as set forth by the state and Managed Care Organizations (MCO). MUST have IDD/MR/DD experience!

Must have dependable transportation in order to provide supervision needed on-site in multiple group homes across the eastern region. Routine supervision required.


Primary Function
The QP will recruit qualified staff to provide Innovations Waiver Supports, and ensure that those services are provided in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards.The QP is also responsible for providing on-site supervision to ensure quality services are being provided.Coordination with the referring MCO and/or community collaborative is essential.

Clinical Duties:
Work closely with the referring MCO and/or community collaborative to ensure smooth delivery of services.

Meet frequently with MCO and/or community collaborative to ensure satisfaction with services.

Meet frequently with citizens families to ensure satisfaction with services.

Develop and In-service staff on all citizen treatment plans, ISP, behavior plans, crisis plans, etc. and appropriate documentation.

Collect, review and sign off on all direct care staff documentation/progress notes.

Provide clinical supervision as require per standards/ policy and procedures.

Coordinate and assist Human Resource Manager in scheduling staff training to ensure compliance with Division standards.

Maintain Clinical Supervision log as per standards.

Maintain accurate citizen legal service records in compliance with standards.

Participate as an active team member in each citizen's treatment team meeting and plan.

Work closely with Care Coordinators to develop ISP goals, submit TAR's, and any other duties deemed necessary to obtain authorizations.

Provide documentation, authorizations, service level updates, etc. in a timely manner to the billing department to ensure timely billing.

Provide support during inclement weather, natural disasters, and crisis situations as necessary.

Must have basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and others as job requires.

Administrative Duties
Assist the clinical team in coordinating and recruiting qualified applicants to best meet the needs of each citizen referred.
Work in concert with Group Home Managers to ensure a continuity of management across both a human resource and clinical disciplines.
Provide feedback, remediation, and disciplinary action for employees under supervision, to include terminating staff if necessary.
Work on call hours as needed.
Apprise Immediate Supervisor of important issues. Maintain an on-going line of communication!

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
