ECDC is open Monday through Friday from 7:

Overview of Responsibilities Facilitating group activities in the classroom and working one-on-one with individual children.
Providing input and observations to assist the Lead Teacher in the evaluation process of individual children's development.
Supporting the Lead Teacher in maintaining cleanliness, order, and the aesthetic arrangement of the classroom environment.
Maintaining child to teacher ratios as well as appropriate supervision and sightlines of children in your care at all times.
Communicating in a professional and caring manner with the children, parents/guardians, colleagues, administrative staff, and community stakeholders of Evans Child Development Center and American Children's Home.
Knowledgeable of the Council on Accreditation (COA) and NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) standards.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency required; Associate Degree preferred.
Qualifying letter from NCDHHS required; cannot have a past or current substantiated protective service complaint.
Completion of EDU 119 or willingness to complete within 12 months of hire.
Two years of childcare experience preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification within 6 weeks of hire is required; must maintain biennial recertification as part of employment.
Willingness to complete all other inservice training or education as required to maintain star rating of ECDC.
